James Hodge is a comic. He thinks a “Bio” is gross.
His comedy is a blend of sardonic social commentary, poorly thought out opinions, and rants about his life as a father and husband.
He’s been the middle act for a bunch of people you’ve heard of like Dave Chappelle and Marc Maron and Bobcat Goldthwait and Barry Crimmins, but his real dream is to form a Tom Petty Cover band called The Free Ballers. (That last part might be made up? Might not be though.)
He performed as part of the Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival in Atlanta, GA with Amy Schumer, Aziz Ansari, Jeff Ross, Anthony Jeselnik, and Big Jay Oakerson.
I’ve got (crap this is supposed to be in the 3rd person)… James tours headlining shows all over America in clubs, theaters, bars, pretty much wherever he can gather an audience to hear him sling his goofy jokes. You should probably check him out at one of them.
Bios are gross.
James has also had some pretty decent articles written about him and if you watch Dawson’s Creek really closely you might see him in the background of a few scenes. (Or you might not.)
Fingers crossed that someone is reading this “Bio” while sitting on the toilet.
